Memories of Sivil's Drive In

I thought I would drop you a note of interest concerning Sivils drive in in Dallas. At the time I had a cousin who worked there at night as a car hop while attending high school in the daytime. Back then Sivils had their car hops dressed up in western outfits and wearing guns and all. There was a coveted position then called senior car hop and my cousin Sandra Ulmer was so proud when she aspired to that position. She was very proud and had tons of fun while employed their. It was the place to be then.  How I miss those simple times. Go up to Sivils and drive thru and honk at your pals and flirt with the girls etc.. ahh those were the days.
